Pops is a reprogrammed Terminator a T-800-101, with t-1000 like properties gained from an infusion of mimetic alloys, and thus is renewed with new abilities. He is 46 years old and able to shapeshift to a limited extent, as well as absorb damage, renew his skin, and adapt to new situations. He has self-awareness, as well as the toughness built into Terminators.
